Ingrid

I've been creating art forever! It always gives me a sense of purpose and accomplishment. My earliest 'structured' art training came from a 2-year Vocational Art program at LHS. While there, I was fortunate to have a wonderful teacher who urged me to apply to Cleveland Institute of Art (the university I attended & where I met my husband). I went on to work for a few advertising agencies in the capacity of typesetter & art director, but eventually branched out on my own with freelance work. I married, had 2 beautiful children and relocated several times to further my spouse's career. I've always found time to continue with art, whether it was for my own enjoyment or someone else's.

My favorite mediums are Pastels, Prismas and Watercolors. Along with painting and drawing, I enjoy creating original, digitized embroideries, ceramics & jewelry making. Most recently, I've added painting miniature art (ACEO's) to my list.

While I have donated monetarily to non-profits, most of what I've done has been on a personal level. I've adopted many animals over the years that were headed for certain death. There have been several horses, dogs & cats that have found their way to our home....all hold a special place in my heart. I hope to accomplish much in the way of supporting animal charities through my membership with A4C (Art For Critters).
